Philadelphia, PA. – In this time of uncertainty, Philadelphia’s leaders will come together in an online business forum to discuss the region’s economic climate and how to prepare for a post-pandemic world. Hosted by integrated media platform Capital Analytics, the highly anticipated event will take place on Thursday, April 8, at 11 a.m. via Zoom Webinar. 

Following a brief introduction by Capital Analytics’ CEO Abby Melone, the forum will focus on three robust panel discussions, a speech from panel presenter Aaron Walton, president of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, and two keynote speeches delivered by Clint Zediak, vice president of sales and marketing for WGL Energy, and Steve Meyer, executive vice president and head of global wealth management services for SEI. Also on the docket is the launch of the company’s critical annual report, Invest: Philadelphia 2021. Compiled after eight months of thoroughly researched analysis, the sixth edition of Invest: Philadelphia highlights the opportunities in Philadelphia’s economy through C-level insider insights and key business intelligence.

The panel “Education Innovation: How the pandemic permanently transformed higher education” will feature Joel Frank, Chairman and Managing Partner of Lamb McErlane; Mike Mittelman, president of Salus University; Chris Fiorentino, president of West Chester University; Chris Domes, president of Neumann University; and Margo DelliCarpini, chancellor of Penn State Abington. “How sustainability and environmental resilience are shaping the future of energy consumption” will feature Cohen Seglias’ Chair of Energy Practice Brian Lawton, NRG Retail’s Vice President Mike Starck, PGW’s President and CEO Craig White, and Essential Utilities, Inc Chairman, President and CEO Christopher Franklin. The day’s final panel, “Finance of the future: A look at rapid digital transformation due to the pandemic,” will feature financial institution CLA’s Principal Rick Huff, OceanFirst Bank’s Executive Greater Philadelphia Regional President Susanne Svizeny, Tompkins VIST Bank’s Senior Vice President and Business Market Leader James Whitton, Bryn Mawr Bank Corp’s President & CEO Frank Leto and one participant from JPMorgan Chase & Co., that is to be announced.
