Description

Capital Analytics is looking for editorial managers to oversee the content production of books within the Invest: series, Capital Analytics’ annual print and digital business reviews. Covering leading market trends, the publication conducts a deep dive into the top economic sectors of major U.S. cities, including real estate, banking, health, education, transportation, environment, entertainment amongst many others.

Duties will include researching market trends; preparing for, conducting and transcribing interviews with local VIPs; attending approximately 15 interviews/week; conducting outreach to companies and stakeholders to secure interviews; assisting with PR and marketing activities; attending top networking events; and general project management and administrative tasks.

 Summary

  • Work hand in hand with both the Executive Director in the production of Capital Analytics publications. Be in communication via email and phone to complete daily activities.
  • Performs a variety of administration, marketing, editorial, research and support duties to coordinate the production of Capital Analytic publications.
  • May perform layout work of a detailed and complex nature, coordinates multiple production schedules and maintains printing deadlines for same.
  • Performs assignments independently, with minimal supervision as to methods, procedures and desired end results.

Typical Duties

Admin:

  • Arranges meetings with top level CEOs for the research team during research months (arrange approx 15 meetings/week)
  • Assist in expenses and expense reports
  • Oversees sales charts
  • Provide assistance of a general office nature
  • Contributes to Company’s goals by accomplishing related duties as required
    • Attend weekly meetings
    • Update Company informational systems
  • Maintains calendars, charts, reports to ensure that records are kept accurate (keeping track of all meetings of each staff, keeping the company outlook files updated, updating the barter chart and artwork collection chart weekly
  • Collects artwork from clients and submits to the head office
