In this role you will oversee and supervise all sales staff in your assigned region (approx. 6-9 people), work to grow the individual market’s customer base, as well as expand our platform within the region

  • Achieves sales operational objectives by contributing sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining sales system improvements; implementing change; create a distinct sales process for sales managers and reps to follow; Manage and supervise sales team to ensure they are on track in achieving sales goals.

Capital Analytics’ Advertising Account Executive is an inside sales position responsible for putting together our annual economic reports and large-scale conferences through sponsorship and advertising sales. For each annual project, our Executive Directors meet with hundreds of top CEOs, thought leaders and decision makers to increase revenue, secure annual advertising contracts and expand activity across all our Invest: platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue and grow the base of advertising and sponsorship accounts.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with local CEOs, decision-makers and government officials, obtaining 15 ≈ meetings a week.

The Regional Editor oversees the publishing of our annual business guides. Duties will include coordinating themes and ensuring timelines are met, editorial targets are on time and copy is edited to a high degree of excellence and is further outlined below:

As a manager, you will need to have impeccable communication skills to deal with the Content Managers you oversee. You will be expected to ensure your reporting staff meet expectations. This may include being expected to join interviews (2ps) as needed, improve staff skills, oversee the crafting of questions that can garner business intelligence, help our commercial partners sell advertising and ensure quotas for tasks/meetings are obtained for each member of the team. The Regional Editor helps to recruit new Content Managers as needed and oversees the training of the newly hired Content Managers and ensures a smooth transition to the company.

The Regional Editor will help lay out the annual business guides with the Senior Editor and/or Managing Editor and Art Design. This includes but is not limited to ensuring accuracy of interviews, advertisement placements, photo credits, review and approval of all articles within the book, that there is no plagiarism in any of the editorial, conduct general proofreading, oversee the production of chapter briefs and ensure that each book is an accurate reflection of current events in the market and that no important theme is missed, that all advertising and editorial promises have been adhered to and the printed version of the report is accurate to all contracts committed to by the company.

The Regional Editor oversees the editorial aspect of all launch conferences. This includes, but is not limited to: overseeing panel preps and leading those calls, approaching panelists and keynotes to invite them to participate, serving as moderator, writing/overseeing the writing of all press releases and copy for the event, ensuring social media is maintained before, during and after the event. The Regional Editor is responsible for coordinating the logistics and helping to lead the launch events, whether digital or in person.At times, the Regional Editor may be required to travel to attend and participate in the event.

The Regional Editor is responsible for laying out the weekly online content schedule and ensuring Content Managers adhere to the deadlines laid out by that schedule.The Regional Editor ensures that online copy is released according to deadlines set by management and that all copy adheres to editorial standards (see responsibilities above under laying out annual business reports). Should a Content Manager not be able to produce the article, the Regional Editor would complete the article in his/her place.

Other duties, including blogging/online content, editing of online material and of transcripts as needed, social media elements, participation in networking cocktails and industry summits (and related editorial duties) to be assigned as needed, attending weekly production meetings, ensuring smooth progress of  books throughout the year, ensuring up-to-date trackers, working with commercial to ensure agenda on track, traveling to markets as needed and maintaining direct communication with the Senior Editor to ensure deadlines are met.

Job Description:

The Reporter/Content Manager (CM) is responsible for conducting all interviews via Zoom in the markets assigned. The CM is also responsible for the collation of certain editorial material (interviews, viewpoints and photographs), as well as writing chapters within the annual business guides.

Still this is an in office position which requires anyone how applies to commute to our offices, which are based in Miami, Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works on a variety of CAA’s annual business guides
  • Schedules interviews by reaching out via phone with leading CEOs and attends those meetings via Zoom each week (approx. 10-15 meetings/week depending on time of the project)
  • Conduct market research
  • Research all companies and prepare questions in advance for the informative discussions and interviews
  • Recommend potential viewpoints and interviews to the head office editorial staff
  • Conduct and report on all interviews
  • Obtain approval for all local published viewpoints and interviews or market-sensitive material
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with the government, partners, and local authorities
  • Record and transmit all relevant informative discussions
  • Pull quotes from transcripts or soft edit fully published interviews
  • Maintain social media in market via tweeting about meetings, conferences attended and major market developments
  • Write biweekly e-blast articles sent out to the company’s online subscribers

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Well-planned and organized

Duties will include producing clear, concise, current and factually accurate, well-organized, well-researched content; conducting phone interviews, as needed, as part of information gathering; and proofreading and editing for accuracy, grammar, style and tone.

Typical Duties may include:

Admin:

  • Arranges meetings with top level CEOs for the research team during research months
  • Provide assistance of a general office nature
