2 min read December 2022 — The holiday season is in full swing, and Greater Orlando is not lacking for ways in which to celebrate. Invest: explores the bevy of holiday festivities and options available to visitors and residents this year.

The Theme Parks

Thousands of visitors across the globe visit Orlando every year for the area’s theme parks, and the holidays are no exception. From hosting Walt Disney World and the variety of options therein to Universal Orlando, each park and their numerous attractions are a terrific opportunity for family and friends to enjoy the holidays. From Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, SeaWorld Orlando’s Christmas Celebration, or Universal’s Holiday Parade, and the variety of restaurants, hotels, rides and exhibits providing entertainment and holiday cheer for all ages, Orlando’s theme parks are an easy and always-memorable option for the holiday season.

Dazzling Nights 2022

Over at the 50-acre Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando’s Audubon Park Garden District near downtown, the Creative City Project produced Dazzling Nights is back for its third year. Converting the gardens into a winter wonderland, with a million beautiful lights, displays, and now character meet-and-greets alongside an inflatable yeti playground (and don’t forget the 40-foot snowglobe). The Dazzling Nights display will run up until Jan. 1, providing more than enough time to get some quality holiday photos with the family or more curated experiences for those seeking a more intimate holiday season.

Now Snowing Celebration Town Center

While even the coldest of Florida winters are still relatively warm, that’s not stopping the town of Celebration from seeing some snow. Until Dec. 31, the town will continue to provide opportunities to ice skate, Cinderella-inspired horse drawn carriage rides, a holiday train, an idyllic lakeside boardwalk, carolers bringing the sounds of the holidays and a number of  tasty restaurant options.
